IDWEAVER created the whole online buzz marketing campaign Explosive Water as part of the SPA Barisart product’s promotion.
During this campaign, two contests are offered:
The code “on pack” contest: by entering the codes available on Spa Barisart bottles from participating supermarkets, users have the opportunity to win mobile phones or cameras each week. At the end of the contest, one lucky participant will win a Mini!
Via an e-mail, the participants are invited to create their own video around the Explosive Water theme. The SPA Barisart bottle has to be part of the video.
The users of the 5 videos that collect the highest number of votes will win an iPod Touch.Therefore, the video creators have to promote their video via the send-to-friend form in order to ask to their friends to vote for their videos. The aim is to create a real spreading of the campaign via the word of mouth technique.
The selected videos are uploaded onto YouTube, with the action's closing tag edited in. They are then integrated to the "Explosive Water" website by means of Google's GData API.
