The Belgian Socialist Party consists of the national socialist party and all its entities: the federations, the sections, the USCs and the parliamentary groups.
Wishing to have their site redesigned and to introduce a single central and global system for the information carried by their site and those of their different entities, the Socialist Party called upon our services for the functional analysis and the development of a large-scale content management system. The SP in reality consists of over 700 websites.
After the analysis of the functionality required for the project's implementation, we created the new socialist party site on the basis of its multiple entity structure.
The different entities have a section of their content imposed by the national SP but can administer their own additional pages. The SP site is therefore in reality made up of over 700 websites, each with content tailored to its own region, town or village. A distribution system allows the entities to share content with one or several others.
Eachentity's “Webmaster” has his own control panel allowing him to view changes and accept or reject the content. He can also communicate with other “Webmasters” within the website structure via internal messaging.
